Easy Return & Refund Policy
At MangoraMart, we aim to deliver fresh, high-quality groceries across Nottingham with care and reliability. If something isn't right with your order, please let us know -- we're here to help.
1. Fresh & Perishable Items
(Fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat, frozen items, bakery, ready-to-eat food)
Due to food safety regulations and the perishable nature of these products:
- We do not accept physical returns of perishable goods.
- If an item is damaged, spoiled, incorrect, or missing, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
- To request a refund or replacement, please contact us with:
- Your order number
- The item name
- Clear photos (if damaged or spoiled)
Once verified, we will offer:
- A replacement (subject to availability), or
- A refund to your original payment method, or
- Store credit (if preferred)
2. Non-Perishable Items
(Packaged groceries, household goods, sealed products)
You may request a return within 14 days of delivery, provided that:
- The item is unopened
- The item is unused
- It is in its original packaging
- It is in resaleable condition
Return collection may be arranged. Return charges may apply unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Refunds are processed within 5-7 working days after approval.
3. Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Items
If your order contains:
- A damaged item
- An incorrect product
- A missing item
Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We aim to resolve all issues quickly and fairly.
4. Substitutions
If a product is unavailable, we may substitute it with a similar item of equal or higher value.
You may:
- Accept the substitute
- Reject it at delivery
- Request a refund within 24 hours
5. Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order:
- Before dispatch - Full refund
- After dispatch - Cancellation may not be possible
- Same-day delivery orders cannot be cancelled once preparation has started.
6. Failed Deliveries
If delivery fails due to:
- Incorrect address provided
- No response at delivery
- Customer unavailable
We may be unable to refund perishable items. A re-delivery fee may apply.
7. Refund Processing
Refunds are issued to your original payment method (e.g. card or Stripe payment).
Please allow 3-5 working days for funds to appear, depending on your bank.
8. Your Consumer Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If goods are faulty, unsafe, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.
